Exporting Key Commands Lists from Photoshop CS4

You can export a list of the current set of Keyboard Shortcuts as an HTML file by following these steps:

  1. Find the “Edit” menu. Near the bottom of the list select “Keyboard Shortcuts” you can also use “Alt+Shift+Ctrl+K” to open this window.
  2. Keyboard Shortcuts

  3. Select the drop down menu “Shortcuts For” and choose a shortcut type: Application Menus, Panel Menus, or Tools. In this example I have selected “Application Menus”.
  4. Export Application Menu key commands

  5. Click “Summarize” and choose a destination to save your file.

Photoshop outputs a HTML file. It may benefit you to save this file in your “My Documents” folder or an equally convenient place for you, then “Bookmark” or “Favorite” the page in the web browser of your choice. Although I test in many browsers, I generally use Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. These are both free of charge but more importantly they comply with the current web standards established by the The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
