How do I use my email client with Google Apps email? (Thunderbird, Outlook, etc)

We highly suggest using the IMAP protocol for your mail client. The difference from a traditional mail client being that IMAP creates a constant connection to the mail server. This allows your mail client to stay updated and synchronized to your webmail account. If the mail client you are using does not support IMAP you can download our free and favorite mail client Mozilla Thunderbird. Otherwise we have also included instructions for using POP below as well.
